Chef Amanda Rider brings a special flare to the food at the Dunlop Street Diner.

Locally sourced ingredients, made from scratch, have resulted in an incredible menu that delivers on our promise of great food in a casual atmosphere. The menu has extensive gluten free and vegetarian options as well standard classics.

DUNLOP STREET DINER began construction in the fall of 2016. Due to the extensive nature of the renovation of this historical building, it wouldn’t be ready for our first patron until a year later. However, the results of the facelift was well worth the wait.

The Diner’s vintage atmosphere, with pictures of Dunlop Street from 100 years ago (with thanks to the Barrie Historical Society) hung around the dining room only help to emphasize the history of the street and in particular the building at 20 Dunlop Street East.
